1. It's Your ACE January 2012 newsletter
   
   
2. OCESP (Oregon Council for Education Support Professionals) is building a cook book, and wants your recipes! Submit them by January 15th. The proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will be used to provide training opportunities for ESPs like you! See Helen Jacobs for more information.

3. CONTRACT UPDATE: GA-ACE & the GAPS School Board ratifyied the contract on Monday the 12th. The result of the vote was 152 people cast ballots with 113 voting FOR and 39 AGAINST.

4. The BARGAINING TEAM is already gathering names for the next bargaining session! The current contract covers through the end of the 2012/2013 school year, and so bargaining will start soon. See Helen Jacobs or Sandi Miller for more info.

5. SCHOLARSHIP! Deadline will be February 24th at 5:00 p.m. Applications need to be post marked by February 24th to be accepted, or dropped off at the UniServ office. Applications will be available at the thee high schools (AOS, SAHS, WAHS), at the UniServ office and on the web site here.

What should the new Oregon Chief Education Officer look like? Take the governor's survey and give them your input! This position will replace the Superintendent of Public Instruction and will be a part of the new Oregon Education Investment Board.
